It all began when I graduated from university with a degree in Adult Nursing. I have worked for the NHS ever since qualifying as a Registered Nurse. Although I love nursing and still continue to work as a nurse, I decided I also wanted to pursue something that truly motivates me every day – anything beauty-related!

My love for Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) began after visiting the well-known Etch Cosmetics, following many years of drawing on my eyebrows. Having my new eyebrows really increased my self-esteem, and this was when I knew that this was the right career choice for me.

I decided to complete a course in SPMU eyebrows with Etch Cosmetics, which, by the way, was amazing! I then went on to complete further training in SPMU lip blush and eyeliner with Pro-Derm Cosmetics.

As someone who loves learning new things and developing my skills, I then trained in dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments with VA Clinic. I chose VA Clinic after having my own lip enhancement carried out by them. Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge and skills, adding many more advanced aesthetic treatments to the services I offer.

I am also an Obagi skincare stockist. Obagi Medical is a physician-dispensed skincare brand designed to address a range of skin concerns, including signs of ageing, sun damage and acne. It is well known for its science-backed, medical-grade formulations.

Alongside my aesthetics qualifications, I am an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Enhance Beauty Essex is now also a training academy, offering CPD-accredited and insurable courses, with ongoing support provided to all of my students.

The way these cosmetic treatments make me feel has given me such a passion for helping others feel just as good about themselves. Just like nursing, being able to help people every day really is a dream come true!
